Aloha Anahola ʻOhana,

The devastating floods in Texas and the wildfires in Māʻili this month show the importance of disaster planning and community preparedness.

We can’t wait until disaster strikes. We have to act now.

The new Build Back Better: Anahola 2025 report is a powerful step forward. It lays out real, community-driven solutions:

  • Evacuation routes

  • Resilience Hubs

  • Wildfire prevention

  • Emergency teams made up of us

It’s time to lead with hope—not fear.  Share this report with your friends and neighbors so that we can continue to refine our plan, reduce risk, and help our Kupuna.

ʻĀina Alliance is launching exciting new projects in wildfire preparedness, conservation, and makai (coastal) management—and we want you involved.

Let’s Build a Safer Anahola—Together

If you want to help protect our ʻohana and ʻāina, now’s the time. Join our growing network of volunteers, kupuna, youth, and local leaders who are stepping up to Be Our Own Heroes.
